Website Pages

$70.00-$100.00 per page.  Advanced technical writing for engineering or medical audiences extra.

For larger sites (50 pages and up) contact us for a price quote.

Blog Postings

Short and sweet blog postings average $40.00-$60.00 per post for 400-600 words.  Involved, technical posts that require more time will be quoted out at a higher price. We have found from experience that there is no such thing as a “short” blog posting; the same amount of research is required for all blog postings. Each takes 30 minutes to 2 hours to produce, according to the subject matter.

Feature and Magazine Articles

Involved, researched articles are what I specialize in. If you want an article that will draw readers to your magazine or site, I do them for $150.00 and up. Contact us with details for a firm quote.

Thesis/Dissertation Editing

$30.00/hour. Quote to be done based on test pages that you send me, preferably six to ten pages drawn from different areas of your document. 30% required up front, and you need to remain in constant communication via instant messaging client and phone with me throughout the process.

Product Descriptions

$20.00 per 200 words, revision or new.

Press Release

$75.00 for traditional press release, properly formatted and delivered to you in Word and PDF

Wordpress Blog Implementation & Training

A Wordpress blog can be set up on your site so that we or anyone else that you choose can gain access to the blog and the blog alone without changing anything on your site.

We’ll let you select from a number of Wordpress templates that we pre-select for your business or you can select one on your own from the Wordpress website.  We do not do custom Wordpress template designs but we can refer you to people who do.

Comes with three starter posts on topics of your choice or general subject area.

Comes with 1 hour of free telephone or in-person (Greater Toronto Area only) training of your staff on writing blogs with free reference materials for them and a list of sites for them to keep their blog writing skills current.  Your staff may contact us anytime to ask questions after the fact as well.

Total:  $700.00, will quote for sites or blogs larger than 5 pages

Payments and Refunds

50% up front, 50% on completion of project for projects over $250.00.  Projects under $250.00 will be invoiced on completion.  Invoices will be invoiced at quoted rate only, no “extras” will be added without your written approval.  You will be asked to sign a contract prior to the commencement of the work that is designed to protect both of us.  Progress payments will be expected for any work that we both agree will take longer than 30 days.

We accept payment via company cheque or Paypal.  The final payment may be made Net 30 from the day that the service is delivered, but the initial deposit must be paid before work begins.

If you are dissatisfied with our service in any way during the progress of the project, we will give you a full refund of your initial deposit/progress payments and we will retain all copyright to any work that we have created for you.  No refunds will be given after final payment is made as you will have reviewed all work by that point.

Timelines

We will get work done for you as quickly as we can. We will tell you when we quote the project approximately how long we will take to complete it if the project were to begin immediately – if you choose to purchase our services at a later date timelines must be restated based on our workload at that time.

Projects will always be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.  While we understand the urgency of meeting deadlines, we simply won’t take your project on if we can’t do it in a mutually agreed upon timeframe.
